what we do

Specialising, primarily in 19th Century SaxHorn music, Cornopean Company can also [on French Horn] perform works extending back to the early 18th Century.

Formed in 2006 by Hornist Nigel Davies and utilising his extensive instrument collection, Cornopean Company is dedicated to performing historic brass music both on appropriate period instuments and craftsman built modern reproductions.

our repertoire

Repertoire for the ensemble, [4 to 15 strong] encompasses court chamber music, salon and social dance pieces together with outdoor entertainment, gala and hunting music.
